Merry xmas everyone.

Thanks to those who contribute almost daily on here. (You incentivise me so much.)
Thanks to those that pop on and quietly browse. (Join up and log in - you'll see even more!)

If I ever doubted Elvis was the most photographed man on earth during his lifetime then the contributions made on here blow that doubt away.
It also makes me realise that there's thousands of photographs yet to see the light of day.
It also makes it great to rediscover things and also to find out associated facts and stories that I may have forgotten or missed altogether.

This year has been unique and I hope it stays unique so we never have another.
We are at war.
The enemy this time couldn't knowingly be seen, heard, smelt, or touched.
It wore no uniform, flew no fighter bomber, shot no rounds.
The light of winning the war is now at the end of the tunnel, we just don't quite know how long the tunnel is, but the light in the form of a vaccine is coming.
Stay safe everyone, the vacine now says it's worth staying safe for so please don't throw it away just before we get it.

Thanks again for making this site a great distraction from the everyday woes we've all witnessed this year.
I hope you all have a more happier new year than the one it was looking like we'd get.
