Im sure the 25th is wrong, there's no way a professional photographeris going to come out on xmas day to take the photos and whilst Gladys was quite accomodating to Elvis' career I doubt she'd appreciate the one sacred day she gets being disrupted. I'll move across any non duplicates to this date.

A mystery:

Why are the girls pointing out the 20th March on the 1958 calendar ?

None of the reference books [or even this site] have anything significant happening on that date.

Maybe it was the proposed date for his army induction, which actually happened on the 24th March...

I've no idea, the first anniversary of owning Graceland??
But the glum faces say much more. I'm unsure when Elvis got the finalised date for induction.
