Some new footage 14th Aug 1970 MS

August 14th 1970 midnight show has some new video clips i've made using the footage from Complete Works and the recently made public 8mm footage. The merged split screen footage is unique to 15562days.com

When they made the complete works they were a bit sloppy with what they used to fill "gaps" - completely different shows, so Elvis starts a song with the Chain suit, changes to what looks like a Fringe suit, then back to the Chain suit all in one song - twice.

I've redone Can't Help Falling In Love as about a third of it was footage of the wrong show. But at leaast the 8mm footage gives us the ending and curtain falling which MGM didnt film it seems.

I've put footage up of all the songs where there is footage, some is just the 8mm footage only of which I've done little with.

They've not only lost the film, I think they've lost the shelf. All that they can find is the dust.
One day, in the not very near future, someone will be tasked with digitizing everything left, if only to make space.
Only then will some gems come to light - whether they'll then release it is another thing.

There's loads of "new" 8mm footage, I'm trying to get it on the site under respective dates. I could do it "as is" but I'm trying to improve the quality on each song, but it looks like a huge explosion of what was "collector only" footage will be available to the humble fan.
