Leaving day of the Jimmie Rodgers Memorial Celebration. Car cleaned, name removed from the door, instruments packed on top of the roof and Elvis in different clothes to the previous two days all lead me to think they are setting off with the festivities finished and on their way now to Texarkana AR.
But who is in the passenger seat?
We see Elvis, Scotty and Bill standing outside the pink Caddy, then we see someone move their arm in the passenger seat. Is it DJ Fontana?

A fascinating piece of film !

D J Fontana first played drums with Elvis in October, 1954, so it could be him there.

Gene Smith. Elvis had been with him 3 weeks earlier and I don't know if Gene stuck with him for some shows as he did often in '56.
Might even be Junior based upon similar reasons, but Gene and Elvis were together for Dixie Locke's Junior Prom on May 6th.
      
I'd go for DJ now. He was with them on stage at the end of May.
