Re: Some updates
Well it's there...but, I need the Quality Control of The Rocker Returns to cast his eye as I'm not convinced about the ratio!
But it'll do for now.

Re: Some updates
Yeah, well it plays in widescreen of-a-sort, but is still a tad 'squashed up' & needs a bit of a horizontal stretch ...

Re: Some updates
Okay, that's an easy fix, just a long winded one lol
Not sure why some come out like that and others perfect.
Maybe depends on which company released it, Paramount, MGM etc

Re: Some updates
Fun In Acapulco is up and running.
I went to bed, woke up and all the lobby cards were there this morning thanks to PP.
I had a little shuffle the other day with the films.
I've another to do as well.
This site is about Elvis and a record of his life in a chronological order.
He made Viva Las Vegas before Kissin' Cousins even though the order of release was different, so next up is VLV and that's been placed in order of when it happened, when it was made, not when it was released.

Re: Some updates
Viva Las Vegas is up and running with the usual sections for the members
Big thanks to Silverwings for the fantastic photos that have been posted. I've been updating the concert database where applicable to reflect photos available to view from those shows.

Re: Some updates
Nice to see it up & running, but aspect ratio needs attention.

Re: Some updates
As soon as I saw the MGM logo with the lion in not being round I didnt wait to see the film itself lol, I knew it had gone out of ratio. The Rocker Returns wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 7:02 amNice to see it up & running, but aspect ratio needs attention.

Re: Some updates
All the films are now uploaded, except the two documentaries.
All ratio issues have now hopefully been fixed.
Loving You is in 4:3 still, but it was released in widescreen 2 or 3 years ago but only in the US and its respective region.
If any look wrong just holler, but I think I've cracked all that had an issue.
That's The Way It Is is causing me a temporary hold up as my DVD of the original is corrupt (don't think I've ever played it!)
Edit: That's The Way It Is is now there. Uploading Elvis On Tour as I type.

Re: Some updates
Lost track of some recent updates.
Had confirmation that Nick Adams was the photographer behind most of the shots on September 23rd 1956. I've also added some of the plane shots to the beginning of the post for that day.
Vegas 1969 now has all known audio available to listen to from the respective shows.
May 1st 1967 Wedding day has had a fair bit of work done. If anyone comes across any snippets of film footage nt found in the clip i've made please let me know.
