There's posh !
Annoyingly I cant see it!
Well, I can if I use a different browser, so I have seen it once in situ.
I've deleted all my board cookies, I've then CNRL + F5, logged out and logged in again in Chrome....

Still the old thing stares out at me lol

Couple of options open to me to use, but I've plumped for Lightbox.
Took a bit of twiddling, diddling and fiddling - but it works!!!

So any photos now get the seperate transparent page open up on top of the page the photo is on showing the enlarged standard version as opposed to the smaller one on the page

That works well !

And all the photos in the post can be 'paged through' unlike before when they had to be viewed separately.

Yeah, that's right. There were two options, to do that per post or to do it to contain all photos in the thread / page.
I went for single post as it could be confusing if a few people post photos in a thread and they all come up from clicking on one in one persons post.
(most sites do it thread / page).

Another tweak:- the concert database 69-77 can be searched using the release type format of FTD / RCA-BMG-Sony/ Import / CD-R
(CD-Rs are only included where they are the only source for a show)

I'm confused here.

Still finding my way around.

How do I access the 'concert database' ?

You can click directly on this link:-
concert_db.png
Or you can click on the main heading "Elvis In Concert" and then select the respective forum, but that's just more clicks.
Again it's trying to be different, more options and more flexibility plus cross ref with results taking you with one click straight to the respective date in the library.

Okay.
That's odd as I can swap permissions with you to see what you (should) see, and I can see it.
I'll go get the hammer.
Back in a bit.

Edit:
Well, I've purged the cache. Ya gotta purge ya cache when ya can!
I think that might have done the trick. I can still see it with your permissions, but only you'll be able to say for sure.
I won't try fixing it any further until I hear from you.

Graeme set up a video uploading site on this domain.
It's seperate to this site so you have to register on it in addition to this board.
I remembered it the other day and had a go with it again. I'd forgotten my admin log in, so joined again as just me. Pretty straightforward.
The great thing is it that after uploading a clip you can then reference it in a post on here using the "media" button.
So it's https://15562days/clip
Log in, or register first, then log in.
Top right theres an "Upload" button - click
New page opens with a "Select Video" button - click
Select your clip.
New page opens and it starts to auto upload your video.
You have a choice of fields to fill in, title, date filmed, location etc and catagories to choose from.
Once the video clip has finished uploading scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Submit Now" button
Then a new page opens showing details of your video - right hand side there's an "Actions" drop down menu - click it and select "Watch"
New page / tab opens displaying your video. Underneath theres a green "Download" button.
Click it and a link appears below - DONT left click it, but right click it and select "Copy Link Address".

Paste it in a post on here between the [media}your link adress you copied goes here[/media} tags and voila! The video clip plays in your post.
No need for youtube.

Now, I'm unsure if I can register people on there as I dont know if I get a notification. (I'll try and fix that)
So if you register just drop me a PM on here and let me know and I'll go and activate it in the database.
Edit: I'm in. Spare key under the Elvis gnome. Yep, should all work as per..
I've gone through all the above, but when I try to add a video to a post, I don't seem to have the 'paste' option !

A right click normally gives a drop-down menu with some options, including 'paste' but it doesn't function at all.

I sorted the photos out for you in the March 26th 56 post. Great collection, some are new to me I'm sure.

Thumbnails are set to be created to a size that's 245 pixels wide.
if you post a photo thats less than that in width it wont create a thumbnail as the image is already smaller than any thumbnail.
There is a size minimum I can enter but thats a file size in kb's not in pixels.

The thumbs up to thank for a post should now be visible! Yay! Top right last on the right in each post.

Let me know if it can't be seen.

Just a minor niggle:

These show up as 'unread':
Unread Posts.JPG
But however many times they are opened to read, they never revert to 'read' !

It's okay, there was a film thread that did that to me.
The reason is because I've manually changed the time they were made so that they went into a certain order.
I may have messed up between post time last made and post time last read and post time last posted etc etc.

The fix is, goto that page and click on "Mark all as read"

That should do it.
