After seeing a rough cut of the NBC Elvis Special, Parker expresses his outrage that no Xmas songs are included.

He then demands that NBC should 'do a complete Xmas show for this fall as per our contract !' .

Eventually, the throw-away version of Blue Christmas, which had been discarded, was re-inserted in the TV special.

Parker, who was at the studio everyday causing disruption, was well aware of what songs Elvis was performing, and the ones he wasn't. His three week delayed "outrage" must have had an alterior motive.
