Miss Newcomb, 15, a patient at the Junior League Crippled Children´s Home, and another teenager (unidentified in photo above right), also a resident of the home, were the only fans allowed to visit Presley in his private pullman at Union Station before he left for Miami where he is scheduled to tape a television show. |
Miss Newcomb is confined to a stretcher with curvature of the spine. The rock and roll singer has made frequent appearances for the benefit of the Shrine Junior League Paper sale, this year slated for Palm Sunday, April 10 Copyright: Nashville Retrospect, March 2012, originally printed in Nashville Bannt likely and rjm . |
